Slovenia is similar in positon but to the South. Then again I've seen slovenians demand to be called central Europeans rather than Eastern.

My grandfather is first generation Slovenian. I know for a fact rep Obestar of Minnesota is a Slovene American, George Voinoich of Ohio is too. Dennis Kucinich is Croatian FYI. Thats cool.
