I get the feeling the Muppet performers aren't even trying anymore...
I'm watching "Jack's Big Music Show" with my son, which I've never actually seen before. I thought Jack's voice sounded familiar, so I looked it up...he's the same guy that does Baby Bear on "Sesame Street". He's barely even changing the voice (slightly less of the speech impediment of Baby Bear)! What's worse, though...in the same episode, there's a "Little Bad Wolf" character, and it's the same person who performs Miss Piggy, doing THE EXACT SAME VOICE AS MISS PIGGY.

Seriously, they're not even trying anymore.

1. The Muppet world has gone downhill since:
1. Jim Henson died in 1990.

2. Sesame Street became "Elmo Street".

3. Disney started making Muppet movies. I had the great misfortune of seeing The Muppet Wizard of Oz on ABC (where else?) last year. :puke:

2. I'll admit Elmo has become a bit much, but he still amuses me.
I almost wet myself the day I saw the "Baywatch" joke on "Elmo's World."

3. are you guys addicted to the Muppet Christmas Carol?
It's become a family tradition here since my son was small. Although this year he looked a bit bored....
