1. I actually was in the stereotypical bathroom fight.

You know, the one that takes place when you accidentally put the toilet paper in the spool so that the paper comes from the bottom rather than the top. This led to me and my ex listing everything we hate about each other, and it took five hours - the last five hours of our relationship.

I love the picture, though.

I apologized and put the roll the other way. Not good enough.

In retrospect, I am so glad we're broken up that I wish I was breaking up with her right now all over again, just to experience that relief again.

4. didn't have one quite like that

but a minor fight with my high school/college boyfriend exploded when he walked past the box of kleenex to the bathroom to use toilet paper to blow his nose. for some stupid, 20-year-old girl reason it sent me off into the deep end and it wound up being a much bloodier (figuratively speaking) fight than it had any business being.

trying to move all my stuff from the old laptop to the new.

8. Had one with husband MANY years ago,

about using ice cream scoop rather than spoon. HE started the fight, and fool that I am I didn't realize he was still drinking.

We're 'separated' now, and daughters have lived through all the other 'small tiffs' that became stupid fights.

11. it was actually a big step for me to leave the house

i'm one of those people who needs, and pushes for, immediate resolution. but, as i'm learning, that often just makes it worse. it was better for both of us that i just leave so we could both calm down.

15. I've had too many of them

Some, I can't remember at all, but I know that they kept me apart from the people that I had them with for years and years, and that they were stupid mistakes on everyone's part.
