My Generosity costs me.

So i met this girl online, she wanted to hang out. Cool i thought. being single maybe this was a chance to see what happens.

She says she needs to borrow $20 to pay a babysitter. Seeing as its Xmas eve, i could understand, she said she would put gas in my car when i got there on her CC.

So i get there, she takes the money inside.. i wait.. and wait.. and wait... an hour goes by.. i call.. Shes not there anymore.

So grats to me. im out $20 and a lesson learned.

a real date with her for the entire night would cost you at least twice that.

You got off easy.

Sucks, yes. But could be worse.

Learn from it, sure but don't let it make you bitter. Be more careful but still be a good person. You know what I mean? That's how we navigate life. :shrug:

6. Sorry to hear that.

You were probabaly hopefull that it might be an oppurtunity to meet someone nice, and that downer bothers you more then the loss of 20 bucks. And most of us have had similiar disapointments, so try and cheer up, and know their are lots of nice people wishing you a Merry Christmas and happy holidays, and such.

Good luck in the future, and don't let it get you down over the holidays.
