Santa always came to our house when mom was taking a bath.
When I was a kid we celebrated Christmas by opening presents on Christmas Eve. While we were still young enough that any of us believed in Santa, my dad would load us in the car and take us out for hot chocolate. Mom would stay home and take a bath. Weirdly enough, Santa always came to our house with the presents while mom was home alone and we were out. I wonder now if there was something going on between them...
