I am a prisoner in an Ice Palace!
This is definately very strange. Everything looks like it is encased in glass...thick glass. I have no phone and no power but my emergency generator is working. I live on about 17 acres on a dirt road. My driveway is about 1/4 mile long. I have not seen a human being since Thursday and cannot hear a car or a chain saw. The only sound I do hear is the cracking and popping of the trees.

Two lessons learned: an emergency generator is a necessity up here and...I will finally break down and get a cell phone! :-)
