6. No...
it's a cosmetic modification to reflect personality...just like tattoos and piercings. Would it be a lie if I was still dying it blue?

11. women who are redheads for the first time at 50
are equally untrustworthy. doesn't make them evil. but they have to convince me.

13. I'm 29 though.
Or I will be in 2 hours and 28 minutes. I'm not a woman or 50. I'm just an natural redhead trapped in the body of a body of a dishwater blonde-brown melange.

7. I really hope you are trying to be deliberately rediculous
because if you are serious then you're being really offensive.

5. Of course not.
What kind of nonsense is this?

1. I know a lot of guys in the corporate world who are more or less required to to look as young as possible because of workplace competitions and stress. They dye their hair to avoid age-based prejudice so they can stay competitive. It's got nothing to do with being trustworthy. It's got to do with wanting to keep their jobs.

2. Guys who work in entertainment related jobs might have to keep up a certain image, and might color their hair to do it.

3. If the gray looks horrible, of if you think it does, then there is nothing wrong with coloring out the gray. If the gray is coming in unevenly, then coloring it until it is more even might look better.

4. Whatever their reasons, it's nobody's business but their own, and generalizing about their personality says more about your need to generalize and pre-judge them as a group than it says about them.

Even though he is a non conformist. I am sure that it has something ti di with him being a musician. A lot of middle age musicians dye their hair.

16. I have to admit that shit creeps me out
What would happen if you ran your fingers through it? And I also think it probably doesn't fool anyone who sees you close up but if someone wants to do it  As RL pointed out, women enhance themselves all the time with makeup, hair color, etc. It would be sexist to say that men are wrong for doing the same.

14. If a man dies his hair an unnatural color
it is disturbing. Covering up the gray is no big deal. But a man going blond - who isn't in college when everyone does weird stuff - kinda looks freaky. Most women know better than to choose a hair dye that doesn't match their natural coloring (like eyebrows) but men seem not to know.

18. Couldn't agree more.
If that were true of men, I'd have to say it was also true of women.

Which would mean I would be the all-time champion liar, since my "actual" hair color is grey and white. :)

23. "Untrustworthy"?
What about David Bowie? He's dyed his hair many times. Are you insinuating that David Bowie is untrustworthy? What sort of insidious anti-Bowie agenda are you trying to push here?
