Coldplay: ripoff artists?

Yeah, Viva la Vida sounds like "If I Could Fly" by Joe Satriani. And a song by someone named Alizee.

I have no idea whether it was intentional or just a coincidence, personally. I'm leaning towards coincidence, although Coldplay are getting sued by Satriani.

Listen to this. Creepy/awesome. Sounds better than any of the songs on their own.

I just find them to be fairly unremarkable for the most part. :shrug:
