2. Leave Wings out of this.
They do not suck.

Even Jet.

9. I love Jet. I guess you're referring to Paul's 'blowing his mind out
in a car' in 1966?

Yeah, I know it was really Tara Browne.

4. No.
If Paul had indeed died when he was rumored to have died, we wouldn't have been subjected to the gross assaults on music known as "Band on the Run," "Give My Regards to Broad Street," and "Say, Say, Say."

Not to mention countless Wings records.

John and George dead, yet Paul lives on. Proof that there is a God, and that he hates us.

7. I love Band on the Run!
Uncle Albert also.

Say Say Say should have been included in my other poll, however.

on edit:

Any one of the songs from your other poll is better than any Wings song (excepting "Jet").

An actor by the name of William Campbell took his place in 1966 (had plastic surgery to look like Paul). Don't believe me? They said so at the end of "Strawberry Fields Forever" ("I buried Pauwwwwww");)

<edited to insert ;) smiley>

20. That's what they WANT you to believe...
It was a CIA op - Paul was in danger of becoming more popular than Jesus Christ, so they snuffed him and put CIA operative Campbell in his place.

That's why you never see Paul and Valerie Plame together in the same room...

(So Cal humor. But my brothers and I really went to town with that joke as youngsters.)

24. The CIA lured Paul and Jane Asher to Knot's Berry Farm...
...with the promise of a day of free rides. Once Paul and Jane arrived, they seperated them & switched Campbell for Paul before Jane had a chance to notice...

Jane questioned why Paul had on a different set of clothes than the ones he had on at the beginning of the ride, but attributed it to all the acid they were dropping at the time...

<on edit> Forgot to mention this was a Poppy Bush CIA Op - known in spook circles as "Operation Zapeatles."

19. Paul was the most misunderstood one
Both artistically and creatively, the best Beatle. I was a big Lennon fan for the longest (and still am), but Paul was so instrumental in moving the Beatles upward. He was the one who tried to keep the group together while George whined and John acted the fool with Yoko (remember the Bed-in for Peace? Wild stuff.).
