I propose giving everyone assigned time slots for traveling around the holidays

I swear to god everyone in Pennsylvania decided to travel from I-78 to I-81 Sunday afternoon. The merge from 78 to 81 was absolute utter hell. Took me over TWO HOURS to travel 11 miles to get to I-81 and then 81 itself was a disaster. What's usually a three hour trip from PA to MD took an agonizing SIX FREAKING HOURS!

I say for next thanksgiving, everyone who plans on traveling be given a set time for when they can leave, depending on where they are and where they are going. Perhaps have a third of the traveling populous leave on Friday, a third leave on Saturday, and the rest are divided up between Sunday Morning, Afternoon, and Evening.

I specifically avoided driving on 95 at all over thanksgiving. Stupid me thought going down rural central PA would be quicker than going down the urbanized eastern part through DE to MD.
