Last time I made this a few years ago I thought I left the bread out over night to get stale. Bi-Baby doesn't think that's the case. What say you? Fresh bread or stale bread? (gets cooked in broth)

4. I use fresh, but a lot of it...
I put broth in it too... but it doesn't seem so mushy to me. Maybe I just like mushy stuffing. :P

2. stale works better. You can always light toast it if you didn't leave it out overnight.
i did that a few years ago and worked just fine.

3. I would go with the GAP gift card and let the turkey choose her own dressing

6. Stale bread works best for me because it soaks up more of the broth that way.
I always cube my bread and cornbread a day in advance so they can dry out some.

9. You will need a butterwick pattern and a couple of yards of fabric.
Do you know how to do button holes?

You want it to absorb as much liquid as possible. Toasting adds a nice flavor but isn't essential. Put in Bell's Seasoning too or I'm gonna run you out of New England.
