8. Actually, I'm having a mediocre

day, but sending :hug: and hope that you day improves. And if it doesn't improve, hope it goes by fast.

9. The rug man was supposed to be here at 10 to install a stair runner.

He called at 10:15 to say he was on his way (35 minute drive) He shows up 1 1/2 hours later--says he had to find gas and only has a gas card for one station brand (Of course there is one of those 1/2 mile from my house, if he'd asked). Then he announces he grabbed the wrong person's runner. Has to return to store to get mine.

It's now 2:10 pm and he's finally started installing the runner. Should have been done and outta' here
by noon.

While I was stringing holiday clear lights on the deck, I broke 3 of them. Had to figure out
which ones, get the needle nose pliers to pull bad ones out, etc.

So, yes, I've had better days.

11. Yeah! He just left at 3 PM! As things go, sickness, death, layoffs, today was nothing.

But it just seems like nothing seems to go right the first time anymore. Know what I mean?
