2. ok, who's the idiot who voted petless?
although I'm not fond of rodents, reptiles, or snakes as pets. I like them -- just in the wild.

26. Amen....I have a Dog..2 Rabbits and a White Rat.
The Rat Chases the Dog and Bunnies around the house....then the bunnies chase the Dog. (He seems to get great joy out of it!)

When newcomers come over, they say: "That's the damnest thing I've ever seen".

29. True story...
One of my former co-workers had a rabbit and a dachshund. He said they used to chase each other around the back yard and try to fuck each other. He said it was the damnedest thing he ever saw.

The cat wasn't into it so much. I don't think he was into boys.

Edited on Mon Nov-24-08 02:40 PM by Kali
There are 365 days in a year. I love my kids and husband too but I can still enjoy a bit of time away from them.

They do ok as well.

40. I love them all, and I've about had them all, but...
...if I had to limit myself to just one, it would be a snake. As to species, if I had to choose with cold logic rather than following my heart, I would select a medium-sized temperate-climate species who's not too picky about food and temperature. A large rat snake or corn snake would fit the bill. They are gorgeous, generally friendly, and a lot easier and cheaper to care for than anything else on the list.

Thank gods I don't have to limit myself to just one, nor do I have to choose with cold logic. :)

For me, I think no pet is the answer

Don't get me wrong - I love dogs and cats, just hate taking care of them and cleaning after them. When we finally downsized to no pets, I became FREE
