i'm currently in a war of poke with several different people, but i don't even know wtf a poke is :rofl:

3. I don't get it
You'd think it means, "hey! Where are you?" but they will only see it if they ever log on to Facebook, so it seems only of limited use...

8. Some of my friends use them as life-sign pings
Ones who have spotty net access, in nasty situations, or just too busy to sit down and type out a message use them to say they're still among the living.

Of course, there's others where it's just boredom.

Not that I have a problem with either variety. :)
