Doesn't this just look like TOO MUCH FUN?!?

I've been out whacking scrub pines again, but I borrowed this little gem to avoid the cramping associated with stooping down all day with a chainsaw. It really is just all sorts of fun to get a stand of scrub pines in your sights, rev this f*cker, and plow that ugly blade of death into 'em. Pine trees keep falling on my head, though. Guess I should be less enthusiastic in my driving.

So who wants to come out and take a turn? I'll supervise. I promise, you'll have a good time for the first hour or so, 'til pushing, pulling and dragging this thing around hills and over the cut brush starts to wear on ya', and you get to thinking that just one misstep could place your foot dangerously close to that blade, and the brake doesn't work quite exactly like it should...

Line forms to the left!

4. duh!
I sit on top and duck-walk it!

In all seriousness, though, I meant a misstep and resultant slide down the hill. Clearing a big-ass V-shaped ditch with scrub pines all the damned way up and down both sides. And yes, working top-down. ;-)
