Lead-free Halloween makeup?
Is there such a thing? Should I just buy a mask?

I bought a package of black and white stage makeup at Target, not even considering that there might be lead in it. Fortunately, my 10 year old kid is smart enough to read the damned package. I was horrified!

But then I wondered if other face painting kits or even women's cosmetics might contain lead, but simply not list it as an ingredient.

So I'd really appreciate any thoughts you have, including alternative ingredients to turn my kid into a grim reaper for Halloween.

1. Boy, you need to take that back and jump up and down and holler
Google turns up these guys who seem to be a good outfit: http://www.graftobian.com/about.jsp
Google also indicates that a lot of lipsticks contain lead. Aren't we lucky to have had the Republicans to protect us all these years?

2. I did...and since I was waiting in a fairly long line with a bunch of
moms and their toddlers, I told them about it too. They were as horrified as I was.

Thanks for the link...There's a theatrical costume/makeup outfitter nearby that may carry that brand. :hi:
