One diligent little Obama supporter.

My son loves Barack Obama. On the day that Obama accepted the nomination, my son and I were both watching via weblink video. He looked at me and said, "Mommy, I really like Obama because he's not like Bush. Maybe he'll let you and (ThinkBlue1966) get married. Bush wouldn't let you get married, because he's mean and he doesn't like gay people. I don't like HIM. But I like Obama."

I didn't know what to say--he isn't old enough to hear the complicated details--so I just hugged him and said, "Maybe so. We'll see, honey."

Then the other day, he sat down and drew these two little signs. I've had them on the fridge for a few days, but I decided to photograph them for posterity. He'll enjoy seeing these pictures when he's older. Until then, I thought I'd share them with you. The one at the bottom is a shot of my son's attempt to draw the Obama "sunrise" logo--my thumb was covering it in the previous shot.

I love my kid.

2. I especially love the intense use of exclamation points.
Really gets the point across, doesn't it?

3. Uh-oh. That kid is going to grow up believing in democracy and rationality.
Yup, another victim of the homosexual agenda. :7

4. He's not so keen on the homosexual agenda
when the homosexuals in his house insist that their agenda includes stuff like vegetables, homework, and cleaning his room!

Oh, the humanity.

:hi:
