The pain meds made him sick, and made his mind race. It's going to be a loooong night.

3. It's great to be here
I've had a lot going on lately...we moved to a new place to get away from a roomie turned bananas, kids were sick, my brother came to visit, now this. Some kid tackled him after school today, and now he has a broken collarbone. He wouldn't let them give him a shot for pain at the ER, so they gave him a pill, which turned out very bad. He's in bed now for the fourth time...I hope he's done throwing up.

2. Bummer.
My supervisor did the same thing 6 weeks ago. He just got the sling off his arm. He's still in pain. I know that's not very hopeful. But I think he is a worst-case scenario. It will get better.

4. My mom broke hers in a car accident a few years ago
My kiddo is 14, but he's high functioning autistic, which just makes this worse...he doesn't deal well at all.

6. Oh no!
That does make it worse. :-( It will probably be a tough next few weeks for both of you.

Sending good thoughts to you and your son.

5. I'm 100% convinced doctors save their "quota" of good pain meds...
..for themselves and their loved ones.

Hope he feels better soon!

9. Give him some Benadryl?
I'm not sure if you can do that with pain meds, but when they wear off, maybe try the Benadryl instead. I sure hope he gets better really soon. Good vibes are coming his way. I can't imagine the pain he must be in. Ouch!
