They don't make 'em like they used to but there are many good ones to choose from.

1. Touch My Body by Mariah Carey
The entire concept is hysterical and I just love the Computer-Nerd guy. Great song. I like when she says, "I best not catch this flick on YouTube."

2. Blur, Gorillaz, and "Good Bad + Queen"
How many times can this guy reinvent himself? I'd kill for that kind of talent, and buy his albums in the meantime.

All I can say is, thank God that Nine Inch Nails weren't very popular yet... :P

8. The original The Tide Is High by Blondie.
Not that remix thing where they show clips from the Eat TO The Beat Videodisc (I still have mine but no player), but the original, where she's wiping water off the floor and her top opens up juuuuuust right. Plus, it has Darth Vader in it.

16. Not an MTV video, but
this one with Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino and a few others is one of my favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_k-CL3dJ8k

Really, really makes me wish I was there.

And I love this one, too, b/c I love Willie Nelson (that HAIR! that FACE!). If he stopped by my place with a horse, I'd consider just riding off into the sunset: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rMemf93t5U

But for classics, I'd have to choose Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel or Thriller by Michael Jackson. Someone else posted Thriller, so here's Sledgehammer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqyc37aOqT0

19. I don't know if I'd call this one a FAVORITE, per se, but it's probably the most
viscerally effective video I've ever seen.

22. "Stones" is an amazingly trippy track, especially the way it cuts off at the end.
A standout on an otherwise (from what I remember) so-so album.

25. The CD didn't blow me away at first, but it totally grew on me over time.
Now it's one of my favorites. I like it far more than their last one, which sounded like Neurosis by the numbers to me.

24. A very fine selection.
They have a DVD for the CD with videos for every song, including that one. Most are done by Josh Graham and are all rather visual and trippy. The one for Stones and one other are somewhat normal in comparison.
