The way manager Joe Maddon made it sound, his (AL team was) pretty cozy down in Delaware.

“Quite frankly it's one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in all year," Maddon said Tuesday on a conference call. "If you're going to have to have a postponement, you might as well stay here."

The showers Monday night extended into Tuesday, and snow was a possibility Wednesday. Maddon and his young team were riding out the storm at the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, Del., about 25 miles south of Philly.

One of the nicest hotels they've stayed in all year? Hmmm... everyplace else is getting an expansion team these days, so why not Delaware? The credit card companies would be falling all over each other to name the stadium, and they could serve Dogfish instead of the usual ballpark swill. :beer:

Best of all, the ballpark would have to be asymmetrical, or else left field would extend into Maryland, encroaching on the O's territorial rights...
