My city, Fulton, NY generally gets 140" of snow a year. Actually, I
live a little north of the city and I get slightly more snow. Snowfall varies a lot as you move away from Lake Ontario, and I've actually seen a 6" variance from the north end to the south end of the city!

So, we're due for our first wet snow, and the Natioanl Weather Service has issued a winter storm advisory. "Pfft!, I say, "are we goingto get a strom warning for every flake that falls all winter. Then I read the warning.

"THE SNOW WILL BE WET AND HEAVY... AND WILL COMBINE WITH STRONG WINDS TO RESULT IN TREE DAMAGE AND POWER OUTAGES... WHICH MAY BE WIDESPREAD."

:scared:

At least everything should be clean and dry by Election Day!
