1. "Ever been sane and insane at the same time?"
Nope. I'm insane all the time. :D

I've been talking to my fellow truckers, especially the guys that I work with, trying to get them to vote for Obama. You'd think a bunch of workin' joes like truckers would punch the card for Democrats every time. To me there is no other choice. Republicans are responsible for the deregulation of the trucking industry. Here's what that means according to one old timer I've talked to. Before deregulation he hauled a load out of New Jersey to Texas as an owner/operator for $2300. After deregulation that same load paid $1200. If you talk to any trucker who was in the biz before 1980 he/she will tell you that deregulation has robbed truckers. I guess nobody listens to the old timers anymore. They don't listen much to me either.

2. We did an Obama visibility in front of the dem office last week and every truck that
drove by gave us the horn or a thumb's up except one.

3. Good deal
Maybe it's just us Ohio truckers that have the problem. Every time I talk to a driver the best I can get out of them is that they haven't decided yet. I just got done talking to a bunch of truckers over at another site and that forum was dominated by conservatives. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places.

4. I just keep going out and canvassing - keeps me calm and kind of excited
in a good way.

It's odd though, a number of older folks here I talked to when I was out door-knocking were still undecided or said they didn't like either one. I thought that was interesting.
