A little makeup to make a black eye, a backwards "B" scrawled in red ink on my cheek, a fake McCain-Palin button, and VOILA....I'm good to go.

On edit: On edit, I will say that I wouldn't do that if the story turns out to be a sad one. If she just made it up to try and benefit McCain, I think she’s fair game. However, my guess is that she may have been beaten up by a boyfriend, and that she made up a story to try and cover up, and the whole thing snowballed on her when her friends insisted she go to the hospital and report it to the police. We shall see, however.

There's got to be a way to somehow combine the picture of Ashley with that picture of the Republican woman at the 2004 convention -- the one with the bandaid on her cheek with the purple heart on it?
