The 80s strike back! Bought rice cakes. Liked them.

Mind you, liked them with hummus on the plain ones and nutella on the caramel ones, but still. Keep in mind that I found out last November that I'm celiac so I haven't had bread in a year, so this might also have some bearing on the situation. But I don't know what all the whining was about about (how many consecutive abouts he can put in one sentence and) how bland rice cakes are. Pretty good with fruit spread, too.

2. Pretty much the same as Nutella. If I had half a brain, I'd have gone that route

and saved a couple of bucks, but I had an odd urge for Nutella, doubly odd as I'm not at all sure I'd ever had Nutella before...:)

I seem to recall that the last time I looked at frosting, it turned out that they somehow got gluten in it, so I'll never be making the comparison. Regardless, Nutella is terrific, agreed.
