I need Halloween costume ideas. I'm 7 months pregnant.
Edited on Wed Oct-22-08 04:20 PM by CottonBear
Any ideas loungers? The costume doesn't have to be political.

I'm going to a party thrown by a local, left wing political and social activist in my community. The official theme is "Nightmare on Wall Street." I'm having a hard time thinking of an outfit for a pregnant woman. I'm blond and 5'-7.5". I thought of getting a brunette wig and going dressed up as Bristol Palin carrying around an infant baby doll named Trig.

Jeff told me he was going to tie a string to my foot and take me as a parade float!
(I promptly hit him in the head with a feather pillow!) ;)

I could go as a pregnant nun. :) I could also go as a globe complete with the equator!

2. How about wearing a barrel?
That would be very in line with the theme. Could you rig up something that looked like a barrel?

7. Yeah, that's what I was thinking too -- but I can't figure out how you would construct it
I've been thinking about it. Are you crafty? And how much are you willing to spend?

11. I'm not crafty at all but there are lots of costume shops where I live.
Edited on Wed Oct-22-08 04:28 PM by CottonBear
I live in a very hip college town (Athens, GA) and Halloween is a HUGE holiday here! Many of the costumes are very elaborate and creative.

10. I like your idea!
However, some people won't be able to resist reminding you that Trig isn't Bristol's. You could also do something related to pork bellies, if that doesn't seem too negative. Or maybe something on inflation, because you are in a way inflated. :hi:

14. I thought of that too. I like the inflation idea! I am definitely inflated!
I've just gained 12 pounds, but still I weigh more than I ever have in my entire life.
However, it's different from just getting fat.

I wouldn’t have said anything if I thought that you had just gained weight. And the costume wouldn’t be as amusing either if that were the case.

Edited on Wed Oct-22-08 07:42 PM by davsand
Make the 8 out of medical tape or whatever you can find that is white that will adhere to the plastic (contact paper would work) and make a message window out of a sheet of paper on a printer.

Put the message window on your chest with "The outlook is not positive" as the message.

Get black sweatshirt and sweatpants/jeans/whatever is comfy. Tape a big "P" on your shirt in masking tape. Black out one of your eyes.

64. That is so sad but true. I feel sorry for the poor little guy.
I am a little apprehensive about bringing my baby boy into the world with all the worldwide economic troubles and political and economic turmoil here at home. I hope that Barack Obama is elected. My little one needs to grow up in a country governed by reasonable, intelligent, caring, concerned and thoughtful people and not by the GOP thugs that have run our country into the ground over the last 8 years.

Happy Halloween!
