7. There's a MacArthur Park in San Antonio, where I grew up. My grandfather used to take us kids

there to play on the playground all the time. The first time I ever heard of the song, I thought it was about MY MacArthur Park; I thought: "Cool! Someone else wrote a song about it."

Didn't know at the time that it was another MacArthur park... :dunce:

back when I was living in LA. Major hardcore drug scene, and bad gang problems.

Leaving your cake out in the rain was the least of your problems. Don't get caught there at night.
