So the insurance company is still holding my meds "hostage"
Its now been 11 days since my last injection (I'm supposed to have them once a week). I ordered my refill last Tuesday..*sigh*. I don't know WHY they are being such bastards again about this..they were being okay for the last 5 months... This is why McCain's little $5,000 tax credit for health care is so pathetically bad..I would have used up that credit loong ago and would be stuck no doubt paying for my own stuff by now! I HATE HATE HATE insurance company bean counters...x( :banghead: :grr:
BTW, you know its bad when the insurance company is doing battle with MAYO clinic..Aargh. What do they know?:sarcasm:
For eight weeks of interferon. Okay maybe I could understand if this was my first script on this but its NOT. I went through this battle back in May after I went to Mayo Clinic and after two weeks of fighting getting it approved.
I guess I thought the purpose of an insurance company was to pay claims. I suppose you have been on the horn with them telling them that you need it right goddamn now. Assholes.
12. I don't know if that would help at the moment.
Apparantly the hold up is...they want to look at my latest bloodwork from my doctor HERE--and Mayo is trying to get a hold of it because even though THEY SAID they would send it to Mayo they have not been..its a nightmare of red tape at the moment I think.
