Beastie Boys announce Swing State Voter Awareness tour!!!
YAY!! And they're coming to MILWAUKEE!!

my fellow americans,

we are going to do a few shows in hopes that we can remind people to vote. this election is too important, too much is at stake to stay at home. we hope that you can come out, have a nice night, dance, sing, get your freak on, and then wake up the next morning and get everyone that you possibly can to get out and vote. if they have early voting in your state then ask people to vote early, lets get everyone we can out there on election day.

we are very excited about obama. hope you all feel the same.
see you shortly,
adam, mike and adam

...in the Milwaukee area.

8. He likes flirting with me. I like flirting with him.

Put me on ignore if you can't deal with it.

9. Your desparation makes him uncomfortable, and he's too nice to tell you so.
So I'm telling you. It's rude to him, disrespectful to me, and just plain inappropriate. Go flirt with somebody who is unpartnered and within shouting distance of your own age.

10. LOL!

"Your desparation makes him uncomfortable, and he's too nice to tell you so." Wow, uhm... project much?

Anyhoo, my conversations with him are by no means "rude" and he is and always has been a very willing participant whether here, in PM or on the phone. Furthermore, I don’t believe the DU Rules grant you the authority to restrict or control my access to any third party here. Therefore, I will continue to engage him in conversation as I please.

I am getting tired of your petulance and insults, however. Put me on ignore already!

14. Ignore gives you free reign to misbehave, which is why you're demanding it.
Just muster a little decency and consideration for once and kindly knock it the fuck off.

15. "Misbehave"? Oh please. If I’m breaking a DU rule, you should alert on the post

...instead of trying to enforce your own set of “rules” regarding whom I may speak to, and what I may say. Here, I’ll even write it for you:

“Hey Mods!

The boy I like is flirting with the girl I hate in the Lounge, and it’s driving me insaaaaaaane!

Make them stoooooooop!" x(

23. I know, right? Not to mention the fact that I am as pure as the driven snow.

By which I mean, snow that has been driven in. In New York City. Downtown. During rush hour. But I digress.

I mean, I know that I would stay in my room...

I really doesn't make any sense to me.

I think a lot of the newer ones have jumped the shark already.

Ha! Cashola, pal. And no ducks. Unless they're the "rubber" kind, if you catch my drift.

Edited on Fri Oct-10-08 06:47 PM by Forkboy
The In Sound From Way Out. It has the instrumentals from Check Your Head and Ill Communication, plus some new tracks like the one I posted. It's cool just hearing the funky jams they do.

I can get lost on youtube for hours ans STILL miss about 8,626,989 cool things.

I really dig "Ricky's Theme" from that album. Very bluesy.

ISFWO and The Mix-Up are both entirely instrumental. The Mix-Up won a Grammy, too.
