So the new puppy washes dishes
with his tongue. You set them down anywhere within reach, he'll wash 'em right up.

3. His name is Oliver or "Ollie"
but he doesn't know it yet, and I don't have any other pictures (like the one you would expect of him washing the dishes). He stole a cookie today.

He is 4 months old and 35 lbs. Yes, he is going to be huge! The front half looks like a leonberger, which is why I liked him. He has a docked tail. He acts somewhat like a herding dog, so that is what he is mixed with- maybe Australian shepherd? He loves to play with big dogs and he jumps really high.

He's adorable. :loveya:

12. He definitely looks like he's an Australian Shepherd mix.
:hi: :loveya: Ollie's gonna be huge, but at least you know that now instead of finding out by surprise. :) He sounds like a good boy!

9. Ollie is cute! Is that his 'I'm up for adoption' photo?
We adopted our Sally six years ago tomorrow. I met her online on the neighboring county's SPCA website.
Just as you like Leonbergers and picked Ollie due to his resemblance, we had a black and white Australian shepherd-malamute-blue heeler we loved who died from heart failure, and I picked Sally because she reminded me of our old dog, Billie-girl.

Sally just got to lick one of her favorite little treats: what remains on the inside of a braunschweiger wrapper. :) (that wrapper, and other good-smelling-to-dogs garbage, then goes into a plastic bag in the freezer, avoiding potential kitchen waste basket attractive nuisance problems!)

I'm sure you and Ollie will have a ton of fun together!

10. Yes, thats it!
I love petfinder. I put a search on for a leonberger mix and his pic came up at just the right time. I wasn't sure if I would be getting a puppy or not. Its a great way to find an unusual dog or just any dog. I had quite a bit of correspondence with his "foster mom" before I went to get him so it worked out well.
