Healthy and cheap food I probably eat too much of
Edited on Sun Oct-05-08 01:22 AM by McPainsBrain
Oatmeal. I buy just the plain oats in the big, tall 42 oz can from the grocery store, and I just mix em with water. I don't even heat it up in the microwave. I've gone through more than two thirds of the thing just today. That's about 10 heaping bowls of oatmeal.

How about you?

2. George Carlin says:

:)

I like Quaker Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal. I eat three packets at a time. I wish it came in the tall can.

3. can't that.... you know....
kill you? Seriously. Those oats expand, especially in nice wet and warm places like your stomach and intestines.

6. Do you drink coffee?
At least pour some hot coffee over the oatmeal, it'll at least partially cook the oats. That's a lot of oatmeal to be eating raw!

I eat to much oatmeal and nuts myself ... I have a few handfuls of almonds or cahews every day and oats either as oatmeal or as part of my homemade granola for breakfast just about every day. And I make cashew butter and have cashew butter and apple sandwiches 5 or 6 times a week.

8. Wow! That sure is
a lot of oatmeal.

Now that the mornings are cool, I eat oatmeal too. But mine is cooked and I throw some blueberries, raspberries and blackberries in the bowl too.

I can't think of any healthy food that I over indulge.
