Attn: Parents with young children. I need suggestions...
I am an mixed media artist and I just bought an old table today for a stand for one of my pieces. I like the table but someone refinished the top and I am trying to age it to match the rest of the table. I used a solvent, sanded it some and now have a really wet towel on it. It still looks ok, and not nearly aged enough.

I thought "Who might know how furniture finishing can be quickly destroyed?"

1. Method detergent. The kind in a blue bottle at Target.
Eats through furniture finish like nobody's business, but it's supposedly non-toxic and won't stink up your house or anything.

Learned that the hard way by setting a leaky bottle on the kitchen table for a few minutes.

2. Awesome! Thank you.
Non-toxic is an added bonus.
