Art ennui
So today we went to Red Bluff to buy this REALLY COOL oil painting of a bunch of houses in the snow painted in golds and reds and greens. It's done by this Argentinian artist, Susanna Roisenzuit, and we got it for a cool $1500.

While we were at the gallery, we saw these other two paintings. One was of a group of Asian monks and nuns, and it was painted in the 1960's somewhere in Southeast Asia. It's painted on an army green tent canvas. It was a FLAMING STEAL for $75.

The third painting we got is a landscape. It was also painted in Asia in the 1960's. It's got a field and some mountains. It was a FLAMING STEAL for $100.

(Yeah, I know the information is very general, but this is what we were told.)

So I'm feeling a little overwhelmed.

Where do I put my new kickass oil paintings?

I don't think I've owned an oil painting before.

They're all really cool, but the question is what to do with the cool stuff that was on the wall before?

Suggestions? Thoughts? Offers? :D

1. I suggest you loan me some money
if you can afford to buy a painting for $1,500 surely you could make a long-term low-interest loan? :silly:

3. More art, more problems
Some of our stuff is going to have to go in the garage.

With the rest of the art that isn't on the walls. :P

Obviously you'll just have to get a bigger house. What else can a person do?

So little space....

7. Put'em where you like to rest your eyes from your usual spots in the house
bedroom, living, dining, office...

Where you rest your eyes is where you'll have many opportunities to enjoy your treasures!

you scored! Especially the '60s painting on tent material...super cool! :bounce:
