8. Seconded
The JFK library is very informative, and offers the best view of Boston that you can get from land.

4. Have the time? Boston's North End is a fantastic trip into the
past. It is little Italy, Mom & Pop stores, great small restaurants, a wonderful area to just walk around and absorb the culture. The Paul Revere House is there as well as other historic spots.
The USS Constitution is just over in Charlestown. Worth a visit.
Tourist office in Quincy Market has info. Plenty of cultural and leisure activities.
Go to www.boston.com for good ideas.

9. Trinity Church in Copley Square Boston.
Every day at noon someone plays the Aeolian-Skinner organ. The church is incredible. It's image reflects in the new Hancock Building next door.

10. Museum of Fine Arts
Take the Green Line trolley out to the MFA on Huntington Ave. They have a remarkable collection, particularly ancient Egyptian.

11. Drive through Cambridge. It is beautiful. Also go out to eat in Little Italy.
And Sam's American Cafe right around the corner from the Ritz.
