How much trouble could a person get into for reporting a bank robbery when it isn't technically one?

I can't seem to get AIG and Wells Fargo to cooperate and cash-in my annuity (what's left of it, anyway). I've been fighting with both of them for three solid weeks.

Just fantasizing about different ideas...

hmm... it would certainly draw attention to the matter.

But, most likely, put me in jail.

And I really don't want to go to jail.

At the moment, it sounds so appealing to report a robbery and just wait for the police to arrive. When they arrive (oh, and alert the media too) explain that the bank has robbed ME!!

I just want my money back!

Sigh.

1. Nah, don't report a bank "robbery".....
report a "heist".

"Heists" are generally defined as a well-designed and orchestrated invasion of a financial institution that aims to empty out the entire institution of its vaults.

Much more case effective, don'tcha think? ;)
