Lounge, I need some advice, ok?
Edited on Fri Oct-03-08 10:49 PM by philboy
Where to begin?

I have a Shetland Sheepdog named Phil, as most of you know.

Phil has always been a licker. He licks any exposed skin I have...constantly. It used to bother me, but I have got used to it over the years.

Last week, I was having a few beers and posting on DU. I had a pair of shorts on, and Phil was licking my calf. I was not paying much attention, and after a few hours, he licked right through to the bone.

The resulting wound is about 7 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 3 inches deep.

I didn't think too much of it....until it started hurting really bad, so I plugged the hole with a gallon of lightweight joint compound...the kind that you use on the sheetrock on your walls.

That seemed to work out OK for a few days, until I noticed that the joint compound beginning to crack around the edges of the wound.

Now, I hate to complain, but this stuff really is not supposed to crack like that.

So, my question is this. Should I bring the empty gallon back to Home Depot and ask for a refund?

4. You used joint compound when you needed Bondo. Your fault, not HD's.
Sorry.

14. It's probably the corn in Phil's diet
We cut out the corn, and both of our dogs are MUCH better now.
