Cuz...well...I've always been a cable guy. BUT my favourite show Friday Night Lights is apparently ONLY going to be shown on satellite. So...should I switch?

1. I'm going back to cable after 10 years with Directv. They will no

longer attempt to fix problems over the phone and want to charge a $50 tech fee to have someone come out and they were rude to me. I don't do rude so well.

that's why we switched...because we found out that the Extra Innings package was only going to be offered through DirecTV...and then, at the last minute (and after we'd switched), the baseball people cut a deal with Comcast.

Not that I liked Comcast all that much to begin with, but still...

4. Direct Tv definitely beats Comcast cable

So if that is your situation I would switch in a heartbeat. The only bad thing about satellite is that when it rains your service can get interrupted.
