Conservative work pants. Is anything so ugly? Gah!
I don't have a job but in anticipation of that blessed event, I went out today to fine one, just ONE pair of acceptable-looking dress pants. It's given me the worst headache! Once employed I normally wear skirts but in Maine the skirt looks out of place and isn't suitable for the interview. I feel like a different person, and ugly, nerdy, badly built person when I'm wearing dress pants.
After finally picking up one pair at TJ's, I went and bought a lottery ticket. Here's hoping I'll never have to actually wear the wretched things.

7. Thanks, AZDemDist6
Those are nice women's pants. They don't fit me because I'm waistless and very long-legged. If only...

10. the horror of the high waist?
Do you have to go with high-waist slacks!?? My aunt gave me some pairs of "nice" pants, they're my size but I look ridiculous in them.

I have long legs too, and wide hips.
If I ever have to dress up at all I wear skirts.. I'll never wear the high-wasters.

13. High waist,
narrow hips and no feminine curve at the outer thighs. Built like a boy except for my ass and boobs. In high school there was a rumor that I had "no legs" because I only ever wore skirts. I've rounded out in my old age and can wear lowriders pretty well, but the lowrider dress pants look sorta creepy. That said, those are what I bought today.

lizziegrace, I owe you a PM! I've been lazy for the last couple of days. Thank you for being such a dear person.

You have the perfect body for the new style of dress pants.

I found these that you would look AWESOME in!!

 Just kidding!!

But Macy's have lots that you would look great in. No pleats!

Good luck on your job interview!!

14. LMAO!
The pair I finally bought look very much like the ones on the lower left. The high-waisted leathers are for "special" occasions (wink wink!)

Freak. :pals:

15. Hey Crim Son - we're hanging out in Maine tonight
but not in conservative pants

We just had an awful dinner at Conte's in Rockland.

Our first trip to Maine, and we're still stunned when we drive, drive, drive, see trees, trees, trees, and all of a sudden - there's a gorgeous cove.
