This is the last in the series, and will focus on add-ons. Add-ons are a world unto themselves, and you can spend pages just on this. Through add-ons, you can tailor your browser to function just the way YOU want. Mozilla add-ons general site:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

Though there are hundreds, I'll look at just two. The first is Cool Previews. It allows you to go open up webpages and images while staying on the same page. When you mouse over a link, a little blue icon appears. You can customize it so that you have to click on the icon (the way I set it up) or it opens by simply mousing over the icon. A window size of your choosing then appears on the same page. You can also add things like wikipedia or free dictionary to your right click menu. Highlight a phrase and search away, and get results on the same page.

(A blue icon appears at the end of the link)

(hover over or click the icon, and the content appears in window)

(One of my favorite uses, float mouse over googe image, image only appears)

The most trusted place to get add ons is from the Firefox add ons site. Here is the cool previews download:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2207

and here is the Cooliris site (where you can also download), giving a tutorial on how to use:
http://cooliris.com/site/firefox/tutorial_cp_ff.php

The second add-on is called Stylish. This one is very powerful. It can totally change the look of your browser, or it can change just one website. Users create hundreds of profile you can test and apply before you decide to 'save' them. For example, tired of Google looking white? There is 'Google web search - dark grey redesign'.

(Google grey, less exhausting for eyes)

What I like about it, it's easy. No writing code and saving it into your profile section or whatever.

Uh-oh. The website that hosts the user's submissions is currently up for sale. This guy doing hosting it is a nitwit who often gets the site taken down for 'exceeding the bandwidth' issues. Oh, well bookmark the following site, and either someone else will pick up the ball or this guy will get his act together:
