After more than a year, I finally wrote something. About damn time!!!

I've been writing myself. It's kind of a blend of horror, fantasy, and where they meet in a modern setting.

I just got past a year-long drought, too. Stopped writing early August '07...didn't write anything at all until this past August.

5. Good for you!

I finally got the courage to post in the writing group. Too scary! Fortunately, Tangerine LaBamba was generous enough to give me feedback and encouragement. Sometimes I equate writing with running naked down Main Street!

Try it. I read a lot of stuff in there before posted. All of the feedback was helpful. I got great advice. I'm just trying to document the family history for the nieces and nephews. If I'm successful at that, then maybe I'll try something else. The nice thing about getting older (I'm 62) is that you realize your time to accomplish your goals is growing short, and I think it frees you up to do what you want, without worrying so much about what other people think. Besides, it's anonymous!
