in the Target parking lot on Univerity in St Paul between 4:40-4:50 p.m. today. He looked like Normy and sounded like Normy (he was yakking on a cell phone).

1. That's funny -- I thought I saw James Carville tonight

I swear...this guy that looked exactly like James Carville zoomed past me on my right during my drive home. He was driving this little sports car with the top down, chomping a big cigar. Just as he got past me, he spat out the window. It was disgusting. So, I sped up just to see if it was him (I live in the DC area, and it was a possibility), but I don't think it was. Sort of glad, actually...what with the spitting, and all.

2. I just saw Carville on Larry King tonight - he was up against Michelle Bachmann

and it really was an unfair fight..

Unless Norm has a doppelganger, it was him. I've met him before (he was the mayor of my city at one time, albeit as a "democrat").
For the record, he prefers paper over plastic when it comes to bags.
