Help? Will someome help me make this picture look better? Pretty please.
Edited on Tue Sep-30-08 02:26 AM by Jamastiene
It is stuck in the frame, because in storage, it got wet. I cannot separate the picture from the glass. This is the best scan job I can do. I want to use it for my Halloween profile picture on Myspace. Can anyone clear it up and make it look right? I don't have good graphics software. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

About the picture:
It's my oldest cat, Sunday Girl. I took this picture years ago. She'll be 16 on Halloween and when she could move around better and see, she would do this pose on command along with a lot of other tricks. Now, she cannot see my hand commands to do it, so she doesn't do it unless Yogi is pestering her. She does the best possible pissed off cat impersonation then, because she really does get pissed off then, lol.

If anyone can do anything to touch it up and make it easier to see, I'd appreciate it. Pretty please. :D

2. Thanks.
I'd love to honor my kitty for her Halloween birthday. I've been joking that I'm going to teach her to drive, because she is old enough to get her license now, lol.

7. Aw. She's gorgeous.
I have a kitty who will turn 16 in November. She's still going strong, and is as sassy and spunky as ever, it seems.

17. Yup, the sassier and spunkier they stay,
the longer they live, it seems. There is nothing like a sassy 16 year old cat who loves to play and interact with the family still. Sunday is like that. She is spoiled rotten too.

8. Not too difficult a job
Just hope I got it looking close enough to how it originally did...

For some reason, it's original size comes up as a broken image...

18. Nice.
You mean the one in the OP comes up as a broken image? That's odd. Thanks for editing it too. I like it.

19. Wow, the black and white one looks really Halloween-ish.
It looks like it came straight out of a black and white Halloween movie. Cool. Thank you for editing. Looks great. :D

12. That is cool...how did you do that?
Is that a PhotoShop feature? I have limited PhotoShop experience, but that would be worth learning more.

13. I use Corel-
And I'm a graphics junkie.

Basicly what I did was despeckle, smooth, highlight the edges, desaturate, then copy/paste as a fresh picture. Took out everything but the darkest greys and made a pattern of just the kitty edges.

On the original I reverted it, enhanced the saturation, clarified it, used digital smoothing, removed moire pattern, darkened the lines, added eyes-

Layered the pattern over it, blurred the layer, meshed them-

Then I can't remember what I did lol...I played with it till it looked right
