7. Ahhh true that
So should I trust LeftyMom's cats? Or are they in league with Cthulu and wanting to serve us as food to the great tentacled thingy???

6. She sleeps at the foot of LK's bed most nights.
She's really great with kids, playful but winds back down to mellowness when it's time, doesn't scratch when she's startled, really patient. She likes other cats too, if you decide to adopt another later.

I'll send you an email.

8. I saw a great set of cats in Mission Valley a few weeks ago
Two cats that were about 8 years old, and needed to be adopted together. They were brother and sister, and had lived together their whole lives. The owner died unexpectedly, so they were at an animal rescue that was showing cats at PetCo there. I wish I knew which one. I really REALLY wanted to take them, but the dog in SD hates cats, and I live in a different country for most of the year. Seriously think about getting some nice older cats like that, if you can, because they're less likely to be adopted than a kitten.
