2. Very sad

I think it must be a very difficult thing to be an aging sexual icon in a place as brutal, shallow, and youth-obsessed as Hollywood. My heart goes out to her, and I hope she gets the help she needs. My recollection is that she was in treatment for some emotional issues not long ago, also.

on a more serious note though, it is sad she's having problems, but if she was driving under the influence, then I lack sympathy for HER being arrested, because she was driving. I have all sorts of problems with people taking other peoples lives into their own hands.

I suppose they are only "suspecting" her driving under the influence of whatever, because either she refused Breathalyzer or results from tests, didn't come back yet. Isn't it mandatory they arrest if it's a refusal?

edit to add: there are conflicting stories of it being alcohol vs alcohol came back as negative/ Tests results are pending for "other" substances.

Apparently, if the neg. on alcohol story is true, and it's a medication problem or a breakdown, I have way more sympathy. There's a world of difference in the two, imo.
