Some thoughts on "The Amazing Race" (**spoilers**)

- Why would a couple - under stress already - go on such a stressful trip to try to "work things out"?

- If one person in a couple does not want to marry or have children, please don't pressure them to. :eyes:

- How do some people who are such opposites ever end-up together?

- It never hurts to give your teammate a little encouragement during a race!! (d'uh)

- Screaming at someone, because they speak another language, only makes you look stupid!

And, last but not least, Phil is still a hottie!

Not sure which teams I'm going to like or hate this time, but yeah, I never get the "we have a rotten relationship, so let's go run a race around the world to see how we get along when we're jet-lagged & sleep-deprived." :crazy:

I'd love to be on the show, too! After all, that's how my husband and I end up traveling, most of the time, anyway! We are always running late, getting lost, and out of money. Not to even mention the time we saw four countries in one day! lol :-)

4. I haven't watched the show since Danny & Oswald.

I loved those guys, but haven't kept track of the newer seasons.

I think it might be interesting to go on an adventure with a loved ones, even if there were problems. It depends on the people, though.

I remember Danny & Oswald... they seemed really nice.

I just love the show. It not only shows a lot of interesting reactions to people under stress (which I've always found fascinating) but it shows candid video of a lot of places I have never been to.

11. I remember Danny & Oswald

& their fabulous day in Singapore (or was it Hong Kong?)! the place where they just waltzed in to a high-class hotel & asked which travel agency they used...they ended up getting tickets (and a free upgrade), along with a limo ride to the airport. Meanwhile, the rest of the competitors were all stressed out & about to go postal.... :rofl:

13. I loved that.

It would never have occurred to me to rest in a hotel lobby, using their bathrooms and having them hold luggage. But I really liked them, because they were just nice to everyone they met.

6. I saw part of it

Best reality show on TV, and the only reality show really worth watching. At least when you watch it, you get a chance to see a little of the world and learn about other cultures. I enjoy it for that, more than the dynamics between the couples.

Seems she's been putting him through the ringer for a long time. Poor guy. Though, I'm not the best judge of character. He'll probably turn out to be a jerk! lol

but the one who really honked me off was the guy who whined about his girlfriend paying more attention to the other competitors (ie, getting to know their names) instead of focusing on him him HIM!! :eyes:
