Meet Skipper the Deaf Horse. (Dialup warning)
American Painted Horse - the theory is quite interesting - blue eyes, white face - I've read that some deaf dogs and cats have the same thing - but not all, of course.

Full name is Skipper (something) Foxy Lady - beautiful mare - friendly too.

There is a very famous deaf horse by the name of Gunner - he's in the Hall of Fame - wasn't clear how he got into it.

Pics are my own... Enjoy! This was taken today at the Deaf Nation Expo in Denver, CO - 9/20/08 - www.deafnation.com

1. That's interesting. So is a horse with a white face and blue eyes usually deaf?
I've known all-white, blue-eyed cats and dogs that are deaf, but I don't think I've ever seen a blue-eyed horse.
I like the last picture best because you can see her blue eye, and her bridle goes with her baby blue eyes.
