Dinner in the sky. Would you do it?
I guess I would...after a glass or two of red wine at sea level.

...agreed to at the start. I wouldn't want to be handed the bill, and have the guys running the controls watching to see how big a tip I gave. ;-)

19. They do have a policy about that.
Toilet facilities
It’s like in a normal restaurant: you ask where they are to the waiter and… you go down. It’s just a bit less discrete because the whole table goes down but it takes less than a minute.

(I assume "less than a minute" refers to time it takes to get ya down to the toilet, not the time it'll take ya to do your business. ;) )

:hi: gf! How's school?

Beautiful aerial view of the landscape? Check

Great food? Check

Great wine? Check

But just looks like a tragedy waiting to happen. :scared:

Like Ava, I'm not scared of heights. Amusement park rides are fun to me. I can walk out to the edge of the most precipitous scenic lookouts and not flinch.

But that? Yikes! I think it has something to do with the lenght of time I'm not in control.

edit: Did you see the marquee on their web site? "Dinner Over The Grand Canyon"

29. Nope, bugs, wind, etc
I'm not even a huge fan of picnics, I'm sure the food is mediocre and lukewarm at best, at too high a cost. Although, farting at the table might be a titch more acceptable, as it'll blow away rather than lingering.

I'd be the one quaking, sitting on the floor with my arms wrapped around the table leg, whimpering for somebody to let me down. I once did a similar thing on a ferris wheel...:scared:

And what happens if the person they seat you next to is an asshole (which seems pretty likely given the group that self-selected from "I would pay to eat dinner on a table suspended from a crane")? No escape...
