You see, this is the type of crap that drives me crazy as a hypochondriac...
Having just "recovered" from diabetes, heart disease, ALS, a couple of strokes and several forms of cancer, and then I have to read this:

Doctors say leg pain can signal deadly blood clot

1. AHAHA!
I can have you beat in this department...I have a chronic condition where both bleeding and clotting is possible..So leg cramps scare me AND anytime I have a small cut its ONOZ, OMG, I'm bleeding out..
So yes, it is possible to really be sick and STILL be a hypochondriac..:P

*disclaimer--on meds to control these symptoms, but I AM a worry wart..

2. That's how Khephra died
He sat at his computer for too long oftentimes.

Not to make you feel worse. :P

Mostly you have to get up and move around regularly to keep up circulation and bloodflow. Keep hydrated. That's the best way to ward of DVT.

3. As a society, we are simply not as considerate of hypochondriacs as we should be.
I think you need to start a movement. Ya know, when you're feeling better.
