Ryan Trecartin - "I-Be AREA"

I had seen the out-of-order clips of "I-Be AREA" on Trecartin's YouTube Channel (I got hooked on this channel after reading about Trecartin in the New York Times and seeing the short Tommy Chat just Emailed Me, which I watch several times an hour.

Anyway, I finally say the complete 1 hour 48 minute "I-Be AREA" at the Portland Art Museum during the Time-Based Art festival and was blown away and exhausted. It was like "Desperate Living"-era John Waters on crank taking place inside MySpace. A lot of people left in the middle of the thing.
