With the exception of Senator McCain, these are guys who think war is what they saw in Rambo and all those Chuck Norris flicks that they watched to soothe the shame of either dodging the draft during Vietnam, or not being tough enough to sign up and face the music. They're pudgy armchair warriors, not unlike myself. The only difference is that I long since came to terms that I was no hero and there was no glory of that sort in my future. These guys still think they can get some, provided of course that they and theirs don't have to get shot at.
