My cat

Just your average alleycat that loves people. Eventually she started hanging around so much that she got spayed, de-wormed, vaccinated, etc and now she lives on my back porch. (she's an outside cat only, she freaks out if she is inside)

Her full name is Baka Apamaru Pormosa. (long story...weird name...but that's it) (i've been told that Baka means idiot in japanese... also, it's the name of Vincent Price's character in The Ten Commandments, both of which had nothing to do with me naming her that)

She likes Keystone Light and catnip-filled mice with monofilament strand tied to it's tail that magically moves when I'm outside.
(just kidding about the keystone light)

She's a great cat.....entertaining, frisky, funny, lovable, and a champion mouser.

8. yeah pretty much
although i'm not the typical cat type of person.

as Hemingway said "one cat just leads to another."

This is my first cat thread on DU. I feel like i just popped my DU cherry.

The minute she ceases to amuse me she'll be out on her ass just like all the other females I've known.

15. Looks like a feral who was trapped, spayed, and released.
The ears are usually clipped in this manner to indicate such.

10. Thank you for the pics.
She looks so soft. She also looks like a scrapper. While cats do seem to have feminine qualities, what you see is what you get, so I don’t think she will be out on her ass anytime soon.

12. I pretty much figured.
We actually had a dog that drank beer though. Members of my family used to run fun runs together After a run, we would sit on the back porch and have a beer, for the electrolytes ;OD. Anyway, that dog always begged a sip or two. Never seemed to hurt him.
